gotcha gates: building a stronger social media presence

Helping Gotcha Gates connect with their local agricultural community through strategic social media management and storytelling.

I collaborated with Katie and Rhett to develop a clear and consistent social media strategy, enhancing brand storytelling and engagement to showcase the quality and value of their locally fabricated products.

What We Achieved Together

In October 2024, I met with Katie and Rhett from Gotcha Gates to address their social media challenges. Katie, already managing admin and finances, was overwhelmed by the lack of results on their Facebook page, especially as a new competitor in Bunbury began capturing clientele with lower-cost, prefabricated products from overseas. It became clear that Gotcha Gates needed a social media strategy that highlighted their superior, locally fabricated products, years of industry experience, and exceptional customer service.

I took over their social media management, focusing on strategy, content ideation, creation, scheduling, and engagement. Using their existing photos and videos, we posted 2-3 times a week, weaving storytelling into their posts to connect with the community and showcase the value of locally made products.

We’ve seen incredible results over the past six weeks: content interactions increased by 517%, follows by 138%, and reach by 236%. Looking ahead, we’ve planned a content shoot for the new year to create high-quality videos that tell the Gotcha Gates story. Once we build a larger content library, we’ll expand their social media presence to Instagram to capture an even broader audience

What I did for them

Developed a strategic social media plan for Gotcha Gates, increasing engagement by 517% and strengthening their connection to the local agricultural community.
